Meet the Team

Melissa started her bookkeeping business in 2016 and re-branded as East Coast Bookkeeping and Business Solutions in May 2020. Based in its own purpose built premises in South Nowra, ECBBS has grown to a close knit team of 11, providing expert bookkeeping, BAS preparation and accounting software training to a diverse range of clients from all over Australia.

Melissa's introduction to bookkeeping was in 2004 when she started working in her families Building and Construction business, helping with administration and finance.

During this time, she completed her Diploma in Accounting and Advanced Diploma in Office Administration at TAFE. Melissa enjoyed it so much, she furthered her studies at the University of Wollongong, graduating with distinction in Bachelor of Commerce. In that same year, Melissa and her husband welcomed their first daughter.

Melissa was keen to forge a career that enabled her to balance time with children and grow her own capability.
